The Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada, located at the historic site of Canada’s first international airport, offers an unforgettable journey through the evolution of flight - from rugged bush planes to commercial airliners and high-speed military jets.
This guided outing takes guests into one of Canada’s most immersive and accessible aviation museums, featuring 14 gallery spaces, 22 restored aircraft, and an impressive collection of artifacts, photographs, and hands-on exhibits that bring Canada’s aviation history to life.

Pickup + Transport
Guests are picked up from their care home, residence, or group meeting point and transported to the Royal Aviation Museum, located at 2088 Wellington Avenue in Winnipeg.
Arrival & Orientation
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed by museum staff and provided with an introduction to the space. Wheelchair accessibility is available throughout the museum.
Museum Visit (Approx. 60–90 minutes)

Visitors may browse additional exhibits at their own pace, relax in the seating areas, or stop for refreshments at the onsite café (optional, depending on group preference).
Return Trip + Reflection
Guests will return to their pickup location, with optional coffee stop and take-home summary sheet with aviation highlights and Manitoba-focused aviation trivia.
This excursion is proudly operated by retired and off-duty paramedics who bring years of front-line experience and a deep understanding of care, safety, and mobility needs. From boarding assistance to in-the-moment support, your group is in capable, compassionate hands every step of the way.
Our vehicles are fully wheelchair accessible and equipped to accommodate walkers and other mobility aids. We also design each route with accessible entry points and museum stops, ensuring every guest can enjoy the full experience without barriers or discomfort.
For participants who need extra comfort, our excursions offer transfer-free wheelchair spaces and specialized seating that ensures a safe, stable ride. No need to transfer out of your chair - just board, settle in, and enjoy the journey with peace of mind.
