This guided excursion offers participants an inside look at the history of law enforcement in Manitoba through a visit to the Winnipeg Police Museum, located in the heart of downtown.
Founded to preserve and share the legacy of the Winnipeg Police Service, the museum features a wide collection of historical artifacts dating back to 1874, including vintage police vehicles, historical uniforms, antique firearms, communication tools, and newspaper clippings from some of Winnipeg’s most well-known criminal cases.
Participants are led through the museum by a dedicated museum guide who brings personal insight and storytelling to the experience. The museum is located on one level and is entirely wheelchair accessible, making it an excellent outing for guests with mobility needs.
This tour is ideal for those interested in Canadian policing history, vintage equipment, or real local stories that helped shape Winnipeg’s justice system.
